Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Matthew 9:37-38 NIV)
I’ve been around for a few days shy of a month and there is one thing that is glaringly obvious! God has a desire to do some enormous and Kingdom building activities on this church campus. I look around and everywhere I look; from the individual ministries, to the facilities, to relationships, to Small Groups, to every aspect of what we call ‘FBC St Pete’ it is apparent that God is in the beginning stages of doing some pretty amazing work.
Many of you have been and are continuing to faithful serve Jesus on this campus, and this church is strong today because of your faithful ministry. But, there is a need for some additional people, new volunteers, individuals to assist, serve and support in new and existing ministries!
We need Volunteers in Preschool Ministry, in Children’s Ministry, in Student Ministry, in Adult Small Group Ministry, in our Facility Ministry, in All areas of FBC St Pete Church life, there is a need for a new fresh volunteer! There is one concept that I am confident of in ministry: “Where God presents a need, God also provides people to meet that need!” The volunteers we need are on our campus, and involved in our ministries!
If you want to serve, if you want to be a part of what God’s doing in your church family, contact me and allow me to find a place for you to serve. If you have an available hour each week, or one day a month, or if your schedule is all over the place like mine, reach out to me and I’ll find you a place to serve!
“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” (I Corinthians 12:27 NIV)
