What's up with Connection?
We need relationship like we need air - they're both essential to sustaining life.
Without air we die quickly; without relationship we die slowly.


What's so important about getting connected? Glad you asked!

Loving God
When someone asked Jesus to identify the most important commandment of all, he said "...love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength" (Mark 12:30). But then he quickly added a second commandment, one that was uniquely tied to the first: "... love your neighbor ... as yourself."

Loving our neighbor
Despite the fact that it's a bit inconvenient, it's desperately important. The fact that it is one of our greatest needs goes without saying--we need relationship in the same way that we need air to survive. But more importantly, we can't really understand our vertical relationship with God unless we deepen and develop our horizontal relationships with each other. Jesus gave it to us as a command when he left this world. Our love for each other has been called "the final apologetic:" Jesus said that it would be the defining quality that would identify us as his followers.
