We’re commonly known as Anchor Fellowship, with that being the heart of the FBC ministry by and for adults ages sixty-plus (60+). We are senior adults “doing life together” and we live out the reality that life is all about relationships…the rest are just details. We offer a variety of classes, activities and ministries that will enhance your spiritual life and help you develop new and meaningful relationships. We offer exercise, Bible Study, a book-club and so much more to keep us energized and involved.
Our heralded Anchor Choir meets weekly on Monday’s at 10:00 am for rehearsals which culminates in monthly visits to area nursing homes where we enlighten the spirits of those who cannot visit a church.
Singing God’s praises, sharing a prayer and a loving touch, we reach those who might otherwise be forgotten or neglected.
And - we are realists! We admit that our bodies are aging, but we have discovered that our spirits are eternally youthful and are determined to exercise that rejuvenated spirit. We are blessed to remain among the people that the Lord Jesus declared to be the SALT of the earth.
