Our primary mission partner is the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF). 4% of all tithes and offerings received by First Baptist are invested in The Fellowship for missions and ministries. The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is a Christian network of individuals and churches working together to spread the hope of Christ. Our diverse community includes partners all over the globe, and our fellowship supports a wide range of missions and ministries that give people meaningful opportunities to put their faith into action.

Additionally through the CBF Offering for Global Missions we partner with other congregations and individuals to support long-term presence field personnel serving in 25 countries, 50 Student.Go interns, and hundreds of short-term mission teams annually.

Encourager Church Partnerships

Additionally we have an “Encourager Church” relationship with two CBF Field Personnel in whose ministries we make a direct financial commitment and with whom we have a deeper ongoing relationship:

Cultivate Abundance – Immokalee, Florida | Rick & Ellen Burnette

To ensure year round access to nutritious, locally grown produce, Cultivate Abundance promotes home and community gardening in Immokalee, Florida’s migrant worker neighborhoods. Cultivate Abundance also equips and mobilizes an alliance of Southwest Florida gardeners to harvest and share quality, surplus, homegrown produce with their Immokalee neighbors, thereby feeding people and preventing the waste of food.

Amani Sasa – Kampala, Uganda | Missy & Francis Angalla

Amani Sasa ministers to vulnerable refugees and their families who are traumatized, abused, trafficked and/or vulnerable to exploitation in Uganda. The ministry includes emergency services, counseling, group therapy and support groups for refugees. Amani Sasa also has in depth trauma healing and empowerment programs for young mothers, women, men and children at risk

Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Florida and the Caribbean Islands

We also partner with like-minded congregations and individuals regionally through CBF of Florida and the Caribbean Islands, one of the eighteen state or regional organizations of the larger global Fellowship. Through this partnership we are able to invest in mission efforts like Touching Miami with Love, Baptist Collegiate Fellowship at Stetson University, ministry partnerships in the Bahamas and Cuba, Disaster Relief, advocacy, and more.
